A dual-branded Moxy Vancouver Downtown and Element Vancouver Downtown was recently announced, slated to debut in summer 2028. The 30-story tower will lie in the heart of the city’s entertainment district, spanning 280 guestrooms under the Moxy brand and 112 guestrooms under the Element by Westin brand.

Both brands will cater to different guest segments. Moxy embraces playful, experiential design and social atmospheres, while Element focuses on longer-stay travelers seeking balance, sustainability and well-being. Together, the properties will elevate Vancouver’s hospitality scene and further support the city’s growth as a global destination.
The dual-branded hotel will be operated by Hotel Equities, which will make it the second Moxy hotel and third Element by Westin property to join its portfolio.
Guests of both hotels will enjoy easy access to Vancouver attractions like BC Place, Rogers Arena and Vancouver Convention Centre, as well as the city’s vibrant arts, dining and shopping districts.
Construction officially began in May. The building, once complete, will be the single largest new hotel building in downtown Vancouver since the opening of JW Marriott Parq Vancouver in 2017.
