Francis Ford Coppola Winery, the Sonoma County Estate, is on the hunt to find America’s best pizza recipe and wine pairing. The estate launched its fifth installment of its annual Perfect Your Pizza competition.

Throughout summer, fans are encouraged to submit an original pizza recipe paired with a Coppola wine for the chance to win the Sip & Slice Grand Prize Package, including the choice of the ultimate wine, pizza and film lover’s home upgrade or $10,000 cash. Additionally, there is an online sweepstakes that can take the grand prize to a total $25,000.

Pizza and wine lovers can enter the competition until Sept. 30 by describing their original pizza recipe, Coppola wine pairing and the story behind their creation. Once the lucky winner is picked, they can choose between $10,000 or the package to transform their home into the ultimate paradise with a premium outdoor pizza oven; luxury wine fridge; stylish wine glasses; movie projector; Coppola film collection; $5,000 installation package; and a virtual pizza-making class with Dan Richer, master pizzaiolo. Richer is a six-time James Beard Award nominee and New York Times bestselling author of The Joy of Pizza: Everything You Need to Know. He also owns Razza in Jersey City, the only pizza restaurant in the United States to receive three stars from The New York Times.
Perfect Your Pizza has become a beloved tradition bringing the brand’s passion for pairing wine and pizza together. Each year, home cooks and pizza lovers alike submit their best recipes and pair their favorite wine for the grand prize while also celebrating the creativity behind the perfect match. The winner will be announced on the brand’s social media platforms in October.
