Which airline truly serves the best coffee? Or has the best economy snacks? A recent survey from point.me asked U.S. frequent flyers about their favorite food and drinks when flying.

Best Coffee

Starbucks, served on Delta Air Lines, was named as the best airline coffee. But this result has one interesting caveat … Stumptown, served on Alaska Airlines, ranked higher among the most seasoned travelers surveyed, citing the coffee’s blend made specifically for high-altitude drinking. And for the worst coffee? Travelers named Dunkin’ Donuts coffee on JetBlue as the least favorite cup of Joe.

Best Economy Snacks

We’ve all had this debate with friends … do you prefer Biscoff cookies? Sun Chips Minis? Cheez-Its? Delta was named as the best airline for domestic economy snacks. In fact, the airline also came out on top as offering the best high-protein meals.

Best Wine

No surprise here, Air France is the undisputed wine authority, receiving the highest votes not only for the best business-class wine selection but also for having the heaviest wine pour.

Best Elevated Dining

Emirates and Singapore Airlines are the “twin titans” of in-flight dining, according to the survey. Emirates won best business-class meal thanks to its regional menus with celebrated chefs, dine-on-demand service and finishing details like Royal Doulton china. Singapore Airlines came in second with exceptional dining experiences.

The survey also asked travelers for the worst food item a passenger could bring on a plane. Taking 40 percent of the votes was the iconic (or notorious, depending on your views of the sandwich) tuna sandwich, followed by hard-boiled eggs, soups/messy liquids, fried food, fast food and beans.
