This partnership incorporates a shared commitment to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion are available to all in the travel industry, while also empowering destinations, hotels and service providers to create a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ travelers.
As part of the agreement, HBX Group will incorporate the Queer Destinations Committed standards across the corporation to help train and educate all employees on LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the travel industry.
Queer Destination is also set to work with HBX Group to engage with strategic partners, integrate inclusive booking tools and highlight businesses that meet the Queer Destinations Committed standards.
Both HBX Group and Queer Destinations will create a joint communication strategy to promote this alliance to spark a genuine transformation on how the tourism industry understands and approaches diversity and inclusion. It also aims to create a new level of safety for the queer community around the world.
