Though Pride Month is officially over, there are plenty of reasons to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community in Great Britain throughout the year.

This two-day Pride festival takes place in Brighton, England, Aug. 2–3. The event features a variety of live performances.
Celebrate the 20th anniversary of UK Black Pride on Aug. 10 at London’s Haaggerston Park. This event is the largest in Europe solely dedicated to the Black LGBTQIA+ community.
The annual LGBTQIA+ film festival in Cardiff, Wales, will be held Oct. 13–19. Take part in film screenings, panel discussions and filmmaker Q&A sessions.
Scottish Queer International Film Festival
Head to Glasgow, Scotland, in the fall for this international film festival. In its 10th year, the festival aims to showcase films from lesser-known LGBTQIA+ filmmakers.
One of the United Kingdom’s longest-running LGBTQIA+ arts and culture festivals, Homotopia, features performances, discussions and workshops in Liverpool, England. The event will be held in November.
The United Kingdom’s largest student-focused LGBTQIA+ festival will be held Feb. 27–28, 2026. Taking place in London, the event will include a combination of activism, entertainment and career-building experiences.
ParaPride is one of the only Pride events in the United Kingdom celebrating LGBTQIA+ people with disabilities. The event will be held in London in February 2026.
