Wellness tourism continues to grow, and more and more tropical resorts shy away from traditional amenities like swim-up bars, late-night activities and traditional happy hours, instead opting for more immersive and community-driven experiences. A new kind of resort travel is emerging where connection, movement and shared experiences take center stage.
Recently opened Hyatt Vivid Cancun was designed as a social resort with this new trend in mind. The resort reimagines the all-inclusive experience for travelers looking to relax and recharge while still having the option to connect to social happenings around them.
Signature experiences include Pickle & Pour, where a casual pickleball mixer is turned into a new type of happy hour with music, movement, wellness drinks and mocktails; Vivid Boost, a welcome experience featuring a revitalizing health shot and a cool, scented towel to set the tone for the stay; and Happy Trails, a departing gift of locally sourced trail mix to take the taste of the trip with you after check-out.
The resort also features a diverse culinary program designed around experiential dining, as well as a lineup of entertainment, activities and wellness offerings inviting guests to participate instead of observe.
Additionally, the hotel celebrates its grand opening with special rates through Oct. 15, for travel through Dec. 22, 2027.
