Coastal Mississippi offers plenty of ways to play this month, with spooky attractions for every traveler.

Running through the end of October, Terror on the Coast is the region’s largest haunted attraction. Test your mettle in the 40,000-square-foot warehouse-turned-horror scene.

For something a little more family-friendly, attend Biloxi Towne Greene Fall Fest, Oct. 17. Free and on the beach, there’s a costume contest, vendors and food trucks. The same day, in Bay St. Louis, there’s also the family-friendly and free Seventh Annual Boo in the Bay Parade.

Later in October, catch City of Gulfport’s annual Boo Bash, Oct. 24, or the Witches Ride of Ocean Springs, the same day. The Bay St. Louis Witches Walk is also Oct. 24.

“Halloween in Coastal Mississippi has grown into one of our most anticipated seasons,” said Judy Young, CEO, Coastal Mississippi Tourism. “Each of our communities across Jackson, Harrison and Hancock counties brings its own personality to the season, with celebrations and experiences you simply won’t find anywhere else. We invite visitors to come for the Halloween fun, stay a few days and explore everything Coastal Mississippi has to offer, from our 62 miles of shoreline and incredible seafood to our attractions, arts and welcoming coastal communities. It’s the perfect time to turn a Halloween celebration into a Coastal Mississippi getaway.”

The historical piece is currently open to the public at British Museum in London.
