Eataly, the popular chain of large Italian food halls spanning restaurants, food and beverage counters, a cooking school and retail stores, is officially coming to Washington, D.C. Slated to debut in 2027, Eataly will open at Tysons Corner Center, spanning two levels with both interior access from the shopping center and a dedicated exterior entrance.
The venue will include a full-service dining venue serving regional Italian dishes; quick-service counters serving gelato, fresh pizza, pastries and espresso; and a marketplace, selling fresh pasta, cheeses, cured meats and other imported Italian goods. The dining space will boast an extensive wine, cocktail and spritz menu; pastas like lasagna, cacio e pepe and carbonara; Neapolitan-style pizza; and plates like NY strip, chicken Milanese and pan-seared salmon. Sweet-toothed diners won’t want to miss the tiramisu, cannoli or panna cotta.
Currently, Eataly operates 69 locations across 16 countries, with 20 in the United States and Canada. U.S. locations include New York City, Boston, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, West Palm Beach, Aventura, New Jersey’s Short Hills and Pennsylvania’s King of Prussia.
Tyson’s Corner Center is also home to Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and AMC Theatres. The center offers more than 300 specialty stores spanning 2 million square feet.
