If you want to get away to the Caribbean this winter from the frosty Northeast, JetBlue has you covered, with recently launched flights from New York City (JFK) to St. Kitts and Nevis (SKB). The flights are now offered Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The destination becomes the 28th the airline services from John F. Kennedy International Airport.
An Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the flight, taking off from New York each day it’s operational at approximately 8:29 a.m., arriving in St. Kitts and Nevis at 2:14 p.m. Return flights leave the island at 3:30 p.m., arriving in New York City at 7 p.m. Flights will, of course, provide JetBlue’s complimentary drinks and snacks, seatback entertainment at every seat and free unlimited Fly-Fi WiFi.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievement of offering direct, year-round service from New York to St. Kitts three times a week,” said Ellison Thompson, CEO, St. Kitts Tourism Authority. “Those visiting St. Kitts will find that the destination is renowned for its warm-hearted people, genuine hospitality and exciting experiences.”

The travel company’s study focused on the 50 busiest airports, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Upgraded Points then analyzed Google and Yelp reviews for each airport, noting mentions of “friendly” or “rude” staff or TSA. Mentions were compared to the total number of reviews to calculate a ratio of positive to negative interactions, with each airport scored on a scale of 0 to 5 based on the ratio of positive mentions for a possible score of 50.
