A new app from MissTravel.com will release this summer, allowing singles to travel-date, getting past the big relationship test of traveling together on the first date. There are apps for booking plane tickets, hotels, cars and cruises, so why not for finding a travel companion? MissTravel.com makes finding a travel partner abroad as easy as online dating.
MissTravel.com was the world’s first travel-dating site when it launched three years ago. And now the popular website is launching an app version, connecting people with a passion for travel and new experiences right from their smartphones or tablets. Forget dinner and a movie; users will fly to new destinations for a first date.
In addition to browsing for singles in certain geographical areas, MissTravel users can browse trip types; like-minded travelers can easily connect with those who share their travel interests. MissTravel.com boasts more than 500,000 members worldwide, inspiring more than 300,000 trips domestically and internationally since its 2012 inception. The app version will launch this summer.
“Connecting people who want to experience the world together is our main focus,” said Brandon Wade, founder and CEO, MissTravel.com. “With the launch of the MissTravel app, we are making the site accessible to even more singles who want to experience the thrill of travel dating.”
