Looking for the newest hotel for your next ski trip? This December, Maribel Hotel, a new alpine ski chalet, opens in Sierra Nevada in Grenada, Spain. The hotel lies at the foot of the slopes with direct access to the Maribel and Águila slopes.
Perfect for families, friends and winter sports enthusiasts, Maribel Hotel opens under the new ownership of Puente Romano Beach Resort and Marbella Club. Maribel Hotel spans three floors, featuring 29 rooms and suites, including the signature Maribel Penthouse Suite. Duplex suites each come with a warm and welcoming alpine-inspired interior. The Maribel Penthouse Suite boasts two bedrooms and bathrooms, a stocked bar, fireplace and a paneled library concealing a secret doorway leading to the master bedroom.
Guests of the hotel also enjoy a library, bar and lounge, as well as a ski-in/ski-out outdoor terrace. The hotel boasts a mountain-view restaurant serving warm and hearty dishes, and its Nordic-inspired spa allows guests to rest and relax after a day out on the slopes. The spa includes two treatment rooms; a Turkish bath; sauna; and an indoor, heated swimming pool.
Hotel Maribel sits in the ski village of the Sierra Nevada national park. Named from the adjacent ski run of the same name, Maribel lies just 50 meters from the chairlift at Parador No. 1 and a few meters from its sister hotel, El Lodge.
