Nomade People, Kind Traveler Partner at Mexico Resorts

Nomade People recently partnered with Kind Traveler to bring its Every Stay Gives Back program to properties in Mexico. The community impact program helps local communities by  providing funding from guests’ stays at Nomade properties like Nômade Temple Tulum, Nômade Temple Holbox and BE Destination Tulum.

Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back program advances sustainable and regenerative tourism practices and creates a formalized giving program for hotels to mobilize funds to local destination-driven non-profits through every stay. Kind Traveler takes the donations and enters it into a live ESGB dashboard to track the impact of the donation with measurable impact metrics. The dashboard also allows travelers to learn how their donation is being invested into the communities they stayed in while also providing an opportunity for guests to get involved in other ways through the “How to Travel Kindly” section.

Nômade Temple Tulum will donate to Tulum-based, non-profit organization Tulum Sostenible. Tulum Sostenible is dedicated to environmental conservation and community education within the area and helps directly mitigate challenges created by the tourism industry. The organization helps protect local ecosystems, support sustainable tourism practices and provide educational programs for residents. For every stay booked, Nomade Temple Tulum donates $1 to Tulum Sostenible.

BE Destination Tulum partners with Los Amigos de la Esquina, a nonprofit promoting children’s development, education and environmental awareness. LADLE offers free classes in the arts, wellness, life skills and environmental fields for children ages 5–15, and $1 will be donated to LADLE for every stay at BE Destination Tulum.

Nômade Temple Holbox selected Refugio Animal Holbox as its partner. This local animal sanctuary is one of the most trusted local charities on the island, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming stray and abandoned animals on Isla Holbox. The company also organizes environmental education and sterilization campaigns with the help of its donations and volunteers. For every stay, $1 will be donated to Refugio Animal Holbox.
