Outlook Festival is an annual event held on and around the Bay of Petrcane in Pula, Croatia. Created by young British nightclub owners, the festival began in 2007 and is now the largest electronic festival of its kind.
The festival was created to celebrate the roots and inspiration of modern electronic music from Jamaican reggae. The festival’s lineup often reflects a mix of Jamaican inspiration and modern club music.
By day, the festival is a beach party with reggae, dub, jungle and electronic music blasting. The party rages into the night and transforms into a hip-hop, reggae and modern electronica-inspired rave.
The mostly ruined city from the 1800s offer fortresses and ancient naval port ruins as a backdrop for the laser art and heavy bass booming of the Outlook Festival.
The Outlook beach parties are often mellow during the day, growing larger and louder throughout the afternoon, until they move to the fortress and boats for a rave dance party. Separate tickets are required for boat parties, but they are unique to this festival and a must.
