Products / Beauty

While Whole Foods is best known as a purveyor of healthy groceries, the popular chain also offers a great selection of natural beauty products in their Whole Body section. The company believes what you put in your body is just as important as what you put on your body.

Similar to the market products, items sold in the Whole Body section are made of plant-based, naturally derived ingredients. No animal testing is conducted on any personal care products. Like any beauty company, Whole Body sells a variety of products including skin care, hair care, makeup and nutritional support.

Many items you’ll find in the section come from popular companies boasting organic ingredients at reasonable prices. For soap and body wash, try Alaffia or Dr. Bronner’s. For skin care, try Dr. Hauschka, Thayer’s, Waxelene or Weleda. For makeup, try Mineral Fusion or Zuzu. Whole Foods’ own 365 line features beauty products including a large selection of essential oils. Starting at $12, try oils including lavender, almond, coconut and peppermint. At that price, try more than one! Check the website frequently for updates on beauty recipes and DIYs.

On your next trip to Whole Foods, swing by the Whole Body section before you check out. Your body will thank you.
