Six Senses recently signed a hotel management agreement with Activos Turisticos de Mexico for the development of Six Senses Xala, scheduled to open in 2026.
The new property will be situated on five miles of white-sand beaches on the Costalegre, the “Cheerful Coast” region of Jalisco. The hotel offers both a sanctuary and a vibrant community among fragrant mango fields, coconut palms, pristine ocean and the serene waters of the Xola-Paramán. Six Senses Xala is the perfect stay for travelers seeking adventure, rejuvenation and reconnection.
Look forward to catching Pacific waves as the sun rises in the morning, lazy afternoons in the estuary, relaxing in the spa and homegrown farm-to-fork dishes.
“The heartwarming appeal of Xala is the absolute convergence of all the values and touchpoints of the Six Senses brand in an extraordinary location and in collaboration with world-class developers,” said Neil Jacobs, CEO, Six Senses. “Six Senses Xala will be an invitation to join us to enjoy wellness, sustainable practices, great food, and a whole host of family activities alongside a vibrant and joyful culture and community.”
Six Senses Xala features just 51 accommodations, all with private pools and ranging from beachfront guestrooms and suites to one- to three-bedroom villas. The village-like design embraces the wild landscape and incorporates views of the surrounding areas. Quirky touches inject a playfulness signature to Six Senses properties, while still integrating Costalegre’s artistic heritage.
