Florida Keys are already one of the most popular destinations for spring breakers in the United States, thanks to the year-round warm temperatures andendless array of things to do. Heck, the average temperature in the Keys is 82 degrees, with the water hanging around 80 degrees most of the year. It’s the perfect place to catch some sun while staying in the States.

We’d consider it worth the trip just to take a ride on the Overseas Highway, but there are tons of other things to do here while basking in the rays. Spring break is easily one of the busiest times of year for the Florida Keys so you’d better book your room early, especially if you planning on staying with a bunch of your friends.

Surprisingly, a lot of the hotels here aren’t actually on the beach, but if you can’t stand the thought of being away form the sand we recommend Southermost On the Beach. It’s pricey, we won’t lie, but it’s a hop, skip and a jump away from everything you could need. It’s also far enough from the bars to let you nurse that hangover without a ton of noise in the mornings.

When it is time to hit the bars again, you’ll want to head to Sloppy Joe’s. It’s one of the oldest bars in town and everyone’s favorite spring break spot. They’ve got live music until 2 a.m. and, though the drinks are kind of pricey, it’s the best place to go to cut loose for the night.

During the day prepare to head to Smather’s Beach for a game of volleyball or beer pong on the beach. There’s live music all around and plenty of college kids from other schools to mingle with. Of course, Key West has all the scuba diving, parasailing and surfing you could ask for too!

How to Explore Neuschwanstein Castle

Most people know Neuschwanstein Castle as Walt Disney’s inspiration for both Cinderella’s and Sleeping Beauty’s castles, but it is also filled with history and stories from German royalty. In 1868, King Ludwig II began construction of the medieval-style castle to live in. Sadly, it wasn’t finished before he died, so the king never got to see the finished product. Today, the castle is privately owned, but travelers can still explore it on a guided audio tour.
