With Star Wars excitement at a high following the most recent installment, The Last Jedi, many travel companies capitalize on the hype.
Luxury travel company Zicasso crafted two new itineraries unique to the iconic series, based in Ireland and Croatia.
The Ireland and The Last Jedi Encounter: A Star Wars-Inspired Tour comes with a heftier price tag, but includes accommodations with daily breakfast, chauffeur or self-drive transportation, sightseeing, entrance fees and meals. Highlights include a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Site Skellig Michael, where Rey finds and trains with Luke Skywalker in the film; an overnight stay at a castle in Donegal where the cast and crew stayed while filming; and a visit to Newgrange, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.
