Throw a Bachelor Party in New York City

Weddings / Bachelor/ette Parties

A groom’s final night as a free man is meant to be a thing of glory, filled with booze, women and all the sordid fun he’s not supposed to engage in once the wedded bliss begins. There are few places where you’ll find more of this than in New York City.

Start the evening off with a stop at Blue Smoke for his last meal without the ball and chain. Half of the menu items have the word bacon somewhere in them, so you really can’t go wrong here. You’re going to need all that extra grease to soak up the alcohol later.

To get the party, started head over to the Attic Rooftop & Lounge. It’s located in Times Square, so you can knock that one off your bucket list in the process, and the outdoor setup is perfect for guys who want to look out over the city and mingle with the ladies.

From there, make your way over to the Refinery Rooftop bar, another spot with great views overlooking the city and try their version of the Manhattan. Once you’re sufficiently juiced up for the night, it’s time to head where every great bachelor party usually ends: the strip club.

For a classier joint, you’ll want to check out the Hustler Club. The pole work here is among the best in the city, and they have a happy hour until 9 p.m., that allows for half off everything. You won’t get into too much trouble here that might lead to an awkward conversation with the bride-to-be the next morning.

What to Do During a Trip to Morro Bay, California

No, it’s not Monterey Bay. We’re talking Morro Bay, California, located about a 2.5-hour drive to the south, about halfway between San Jose and Los Angeles. A quieter destination, Morro Bay offers plenty for the outdoor adventurer to enjoy.
