You want to tip the hospitality workers you interact with during your hotel stay, but who carries cash anymore? Stop struggling to find either cash or to make up an awkward excuse as to why you can’t tip at that moment with TipYo.
TipYo partners with hospitality brands so you can use the TipYo app to send a tip to the property’s staff. The property then processes that tip in its regular payroll and the tip is deposited as part of that staff member’s normal paycheck. All you have to do upon opening the app is choose your tip amount, select the hotel, choose the staff type (housekeeping, concierge or valet), enter your room number or the staff member’s name and then confirm.
Most recently, TipYo partnered with Curator Hotel & Resorts Collection as the brand’s preferred tipping solutions partner. Curator works with independent hotels all across the United States, and all its partner hotels are on the luxurious side, from Hotel Viking in Newport, Rhode Island, to Hotel Theodore in Seattle, Washington.
TipYo comes with no extra fees for guests or hotel staff members.
“Ninety-eight percent of travelers surveyed support a mobile tipping solution. I have yet to have a conversation with a traveler who cannot relate to the critical need for mobile tipping,” said Brian Walsh, founder, TipYo. “As guests rank contactless payments above such promoted features like mobile key and check-in, TipYo’s safe and completely integrated platform will continue to improve the take-home pay of the employees.”
