Top 5 / North America

Philadelphia’s dining scene is the best it’s ever been. If you want to experience the city’s amazing culinary scene, but prefer to bring your own wine, there are plenty of great BYOB options. These are our favorites.

Bibou

With a fixed-price menu that changes weekly, Bibou offers bold French dishes, perfect for pairing with classic French wine. Be sure to check out the seven-course menu online right before your visit for the best possible pairings.

Honey’s Sit ‘N Eat

The popular brunch spot has two locations, in Center City and Northern Liberties. Enjoy diner-inspired dishes specializing in comfort food and Jewish fare. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, so arrive early or plan to wait for a table.

Laurel

The intimate French-American restaurant is a perennial on the city’s “best of” lists. Dinner is served Tuesday–Saturday. The restaurant recently started offering a wine pairing for an additional fee.

Pumpkin

The charming eatery features a cozy dining room and a menu that changes often to highlight the most seasonal ingredients. The cash-only spot is open Tuesday–Sunday.

Res Ipsa Café

A new addition to the BYOB scene in Philadelphia, Res Ipsa is already a favorite. The all-day café features an Italian menu for dinner service, along with the BYOB option.
