“For nearly three decades, the World Creole Music Festival has provided a distinctly Dominican platform where our music meets the sounds of the Caribbean and the world,” described Marva Williams, CEO, Discover Dominica Authority.
“The 2026 lineup continues that tradition, but WCMF is also part of something much bigger. We invite visitors to spend some time with us in Dominica this October and immerse themselves in the spirit of our Independence season, with WCMF as one of its major highlights,” she added. “Come for the music, but stay for the culture, the cuisine, the traditional wear, the village celebrations, our people and the incredible beauty of the Nature Island. There is so much more to experience and this is one of the most exciting and authentic times of year to discover Dominica.”

Last year, WCMF welcomed more than 42,000 attendees, and the number of tourists visiting for the festival is growing. Tourist numbers for the 2025 festival represented a 48 percent increase over 2024 numbers, and a 61 percent increase over 2023 numbers.
