Headed to The Volunteer State soon? Check out these new attractions and experiences recently opened throughout the state.
In Nashville, music lovers will have even more to love, thanks to new exhibits at Museum of Christian & Gospel Music and Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The former just opened its doors for the first time in October, so it’s brand-new, top to bottom. Meanwhile, the latter is introducing a new exhibit, Muscle Soals: Low Rhythm Rising, Nov. 14.
This month, Zoo Knoxville introduces a first: Smoky Night Lights, a 360-degree music and light show celebrating the Smoky Mountains’ history and beauty.
If you’d like to plan your visit around an event, you still have time to make it to the South Pittsburg Lodge Fest, Nov. 8–9. If you don’t automatically recognize this festival’s name, consider your cast iron. The fest takes place in the hometown of Lodge Cast Iron, and, if you attend the fest, you can also take a tour of Lodge Museum of Cast Iron, bid in a cast iron auction or just snag a few pieces in a warehouse sale.
And, if you’re looking for a recently opened place to stay during your explorations, try new Mint House Marathon Village in Nashville.
