Sustainable adventure tour operators Wilderness Scotland, Wilderness England and Wilderness Ireland recently expanded tour offerings with a new option: culture and heritage journeys. Launching in spring 2026, these gentle discovery itineraries from the Wilderness Group focus on cultural immersion in each destination.

The lineup of tours features two itineraries for Scotland, three for England and three for Ireland. Travelers learn about the cultural heritage of southern and central Scotland on Legends of Scotland. The fully guided Royal & Ancient Scotland tour includes visits to some of the country’s oldest landmarks. Cornwall: Legends & Landscapes offers an immersive cultural tour of Cornwall. Cotswolds: Stories & Stone brings guests through the region with stops at Bath, Stonehenge, Blenheim Palace and more. The seven-day Lake District: Tales & Traditions tour focuses on the cultural and natural heritage of England’s Lake District. Learn about history, myth, legend and pop culture during the seven-day Legends of Northern Ireland itinerary. Kingdom of Kerry includes stops in Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Discover more than 5,000 years of history on the Wild Atlantic Way during Ireland’s Ancient Islands tour.
