We all know that over-prepared traveler who has every second of every vacation planned to a tee, allowing for maximum time for sightseeing and museum-hopping. For those travelers who are less inclined to make itineraries months before (if ever), there is a new app in development called Zipkick that uses your destination and interests to find the best travel lodging for your next trip.
Upon downloading the app (soon to be available on iOS and Droid devices), you will be asked to check off your travel preferences including price, the number of travelers for whom you will be searching, the star ratings for hotels, the ratings for TripAdvisor reviews and amenities you would like your lodging options to have (indoor pool, pet friendly, etc.).
Once you have logged your preferences, you can start searching for travel lodging by date and by location. The goal of the app is to drastically simplify all the filtering and steps that most platforms require their users to weave through, and to allow travelers to book lodging and other travel items with just a few clicks.
The more you use the app, the more tailored your results will become, ensuring the travel suggestions you receive are catered to your tastes and preferences. The app is currently only available in beta mode, but when you visit the website, you can sign up to test the app on your mobile device.
