Bicycle Tour of Colorado

There’s no better way to tour Colorado than by bicycle. With all the scenic highlights available, there’s so much you don’t want to miss, and cycling your way through is really the only option.

The Bicycle Tour of Colorado, the state’s original loop tour, is a seven-day annual trip that’ll take you through some of the most dynamic and beautiful trails of the Rocky Mountains with a group supporting you the whole way.

The cycling trail begins in Montrose and takes you through the towns of Naturita, Cortez, Durango and Telluride among others. You’ll be offered camping accommodations each night along the way or you can choose to upgrade to a hotel at an extra cost. Meals are also included.

The group provides water and fruit stations every 15 to 30 miles along with medical support and bicycle repairs if needed. You can sign up with a group and make a race of it if you’d like, or you and a few friends can leisurely enjoy rolling through the mountains and taking in the views.

The tour takes place in the summer (June 2016) and is open to roughly 1,500 riders, so you’d better register soon. For every five riders your group registers, a sixth gets to go for free.
