Apple Watch users who love to travel can now rest easy knowing they’ll always be connected. Griffin developed the Travel Power Bank, a compact battery with an Apple Watch charger that’ll charge your device no matter where you go.
The power bank is small enough to fit on your key ring, so there’s no excuse for not taking it along. It contains 1050 mAh of power and can deliver up to four full charges for your watch. It plugs in through a micro-USB cable so you can hook it up to any five-volt USB charger or your laptop to give it some fuel. The LED indicator lets you know when it’s ready to go.
The Travel Power Bank weighs less than two ounces and can fit nicely into your pocket or pack. It’s roughly the size of your basic flash drive so as long as you keep it in a safe place it should be hard to lose.
Griffin is so confident in your satisfaction they’ve included a lifetime warranty in case anything goes wrong, which they’re pretty sure it won’t. This handy little device is a great companion piece to anyone who can’t get enough of their Apple Watch. Lightweight and easy to travel with, it’ll certainly come in handy whether you’re exploring a new city in Europe or backpacking the side of a mountain in South America.
Expect the Griffin Travel Power Bank to drop sometime in mid-2016 and retail for $69.99.
