Morven Revealed: Untold Stories from New Jersey’s Most Historic Home
At Morven Museum & Garden in Princeton, the new Morven Revealed: Untold Stories from New Jersey’s Most Historic Home exhibit is up through next March. The museum — set within a National Historic Landmark, by the way — is showing off some of its lesser-known items, as well as its overall historic status as a one-time home to George Washington.
Century: 100 Years of Black Art at MaM
Until July 7, you can catch Century: 100 Years of Black Art at MaM at Montclair Museum of Art. Notable works on display include James Van Der Zee’s historic photograph Black Red Cross March, Harlem (1924) and Nanette Carter’s Destabilizing #2 (2022).
Slow Motion
Through September 2025, you can catch a new exhibit at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton. Slow Motion will “reimagine the material possibilities of public memory” through unconventional works in an indoor-outdoor exhibit.
