Pantone recently announced its color of the year for 2024: Peach Fuzz, described as a color to enrich the mind, body and soul. Travel also does those same things, so Planet Cruise compiled a list of five worldwide destinations to visit based on the color of the year.
Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, India
Hawa Mahal palace in Jaipur was built from red and sandstone in 1799, and, in the morning, the sun’s rays amplify its spectacular colors.
Craigievar Castle in Craigievar, Scotland
This seven-story castle, completed in 1626, is among the best-preserved in Scotland. While currently under renovation, its peachy exterior reopens to the public this spring.
Tan Dinh Church in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
The Roman Catholic Tan Dinh Church (or Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus) attracts visitors to its unusual construction. Visit in summer as the Christmas season is extremely busy here.
Valley of Fire in Overton, Nevada
A little closer to home, Valley of Fire State Park covers nearly 40,000 acres with bright Aztec sandstone combined with grey and tan limestone. Open year-round, the national park is accessible on all designated driving routes.
Las Salinas de Torrevieja in Valencia, Spain
This rose-tinted lake houses thousands of flamingos during breeding season. In the same area, high salt levels in the lake and the black mud surrounding it create a peach-inspired natural spa.
