Spring Break

California is more respected for its rave scene, but Los Angeles has plenty of clubs that cater to everyone, from downtown warehouse veterans to the Hollywood celebrity crowd.

The Echoplex

Not many tourists find themselves in East LA, but residents of Silver Lake and Echo Park seem to love the nightclub/live music venue. The marquee has a diverse array of performers with something interesting going on almost every day.

Exchange

The enormous club has four floors and 25,000 square feet of space, serving as a venue for DJs, live bands, private parties and fashion shows. A recent renovation brought the former stock exchange to modern times with a Funktion One sound system and a 200-square-foot LED screen.

Sound

Underground dance can be hard to find in this city, but Sound fills the void with their philosophy of combining cutting-edge technology with a carefully curated lineup of performers.

Avalon

Avalon is one of the city’s biggest and oldest clubs, known for its Spanish colonial exterior and its history as a theater and live music venue that once hosted The Beatles. Today, it’s popular for the superstar DJs it pulls, as well as being a late-night party spot thanks to a 24-hour liquor license.
