You don’t want to miss out on the best scenic drives. The Mohawk Trail Region in Massachusetts is home to driving tours, which take you through the best of The Berkshire hills, under old-fashioned covered bridges and state reservations. Daring drivers may also enjoy the trip up Cadillac Mountain in Maine. For a more destination-based drive-through, check out the Connecticut Art Trail, which brings you on a grand tour of the state scenery as well as its abundant fine art museums.

Know where you will save on filling up your gas tank
According to data gathered by the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, New Hampshire is where you’ll find the least expensive price for gas, averaging $3.46 a gallon. Avoid stopping for gas in Connecticut, where the average price rockets to $3.74.
Keep varying driving laws between states in mind
Most of the laws are the same within the region, though there are a few variations state by state, so its best to read up on any road rules if you’re unsure. For example, while all general phone use is completely banned in Connecticut, up in Maine, only those under 18 and those with a learner’s permit may not use mobile phones. In New Hampshire, there are no limits on cell phone use, though texting while driving is banned in all six New England states.
