Located just a few miles northwest of Belgium’s capital city, Brussels Airport prides itself on its central European location and its ideal connecting services that link major (and minor) cities across the continent.
Brussels Airport is the headquarters of Brussels Airlines — a Star Alliance member airline — and welcomed more than 24 million passengers in 2017. Flights from BRU travel to more than 100 international destinations, most in Europe and North Africa.
Inside the airport, passengers have access to nine business lounges, including the Diamond Lounge that any traveler can visit for just €32 euros ($39). Other airport services include a pharmacy, porter service, a post office and access to a free mobile app that lets travelers enter their flight information and receive a tailored itinerary for their time in the airport. The app also provides users with discounts at airport shops, waiting times at the security line and notifications of gate changes.
Not only does the airport offer a free, unlimited WiFi connection, there are also three paid computer desks located on the arrivals level at Pier A and at Pier B.
To fill up before a flight, travelers can visit Belle & Belge for traditional Belgian fare in a smart setting, or opt for a pint of one of Belgium’s famous brews at Beers & Cheers, located in the center of a bustling food court-style space next to a Starbucks.
