Using Tipsi, diners can break down a restaurant wine list by price, value and other metrics and conveniently scan a wine label to access ratings, notes from wine makers and reviews.
Users can select the type of dish they plan to order and review the bottles and glasses offered that pair best with their meal and can narrow options by budget, wine rating, wine style and personal taste preferences.
In addition to wine knowledge at your fingertips from consumer-generated reviews and photos, the app provides food and wine pairings as well as commentary at partner restaurants.
