This year, Arapaho Valley Ranch, a glamping destination in Colorado’s Grand County, celebrates its 80th anniversary. The ranch started as a dude ranch and later turned to a guest ranch and private home before being purchased by Tiehen Group to become the glamping destination it is today.

Two new glamping yurts have been added to the ranch’s glamping accommodations. Each yurt accommodates up to six people and features two queen beds; a pull-out couch; and a camp kitchen box including plates, silverware, a frying pan, mugs, cooking utensils, a cooler and a French press.

Nature is everywhere at Arapaho Valley Ranch: Watch as ducks make their daily walk from their wildlife-proof overnight accommodations to the on-site pond. Don’t worry if you miss the daily walk, you can still see them frolicking at the pond throughout the day. These daily duck walks are just one of the many quirky and fun things to do this summer at Arapaho Valley Ranch. Here’s what else you can expect this season and beyond:

Along with the ducks, the ranch also added chickens. Ducks and chickens are free to roam the ranch and splash in the pond.

Since 2022, Arapaho Valley Ranch has been through some major upgrades, including the addition of tiny home cabins, 19 glamping tents and a laundry building. Currently, the ranch is making upgrades to all the cabins, adding two new bathhouses and property-wide landscape improvements.

Additionally, throughout the summer, Arapaho Valley Ranch hosts a variety of events, such as a Bluegrass festival, Western Weekend, movie nights and s’mores nights.
