Tribeca Film Festival

April 18–29

Celebrate all things film at the Tribeca Film Festival, founded by legendary visionaries Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in 2001. The event has become a gathering place for filmmakers, artists, innovators and more to embrace storytelling in all its forms.

Budapest Spring Festival

Through April 22

Feria de Abril

Visit Seville, Spain, after Holy Week for a week-long celebration of spring. This is a week of serious dancing, drinking, eating and fun. Late nights and all-nighters are common — so be prepared to bring your party pants.

Nuremberg Spring Festival

Through April 15

This two-week event takes place on the banks of the Dutzendteich Lake in the city’s fairgrounds. Its family-friendly atmosphere makes the perfect setting for traditional theme park attractions, festivals, food and drink.

King’s Day

April 27

This event in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the national celebration of the birthday of the King, but really just an excuse to party. Celebrations take place all over the Netherlands, but are extra raucous in Amsterdam. The streets (and canals) are packed all day and night with orange-clad partiers.
