Canada’s Porter Airlines Brings New Service to United States

Toronto-headquartered Porter Airlines has been rapidly expanding its service throughout the United States. Since the beginning of 2026, the airline has launched or announced numerous new routes and schedule expansions.

Starting in May, Porter Airlines will offer new, year-round flights between Toronto (YYZ) and Austin (AUS), with service five times per week. Also in May, it will begin expanding service to Nashville (BNA) from Toronto (YTZ), and service to Boston (BOS) from Toronto (YYZ) and Montreal (YUL).

As of February, the airline began operating a seasonal route between Vancouver (YVR) and Phoenix (PHX). This service is available through April 19. Likewise, earlier in the year, the airline launched inaugural flights from Ottawa (YOW) to Miami (MIA) and Phoenix (PHX). Both routes operate three times weekly.

Additionally, while Porter Airlines has offered service between Toronto and Chicago for nearly 20 years, in September, service will move from Midway (MDW) to O’Hare (ORD), and will also increase in frequency, with three flights offered daily.
