Head to La Jolla, California, this April for the 18th Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance. The automotive and lifestyle festival offers car fanatics a variety of free and paid events. This year’s theme showcases the roaring 20s and glamorous 1930s. The event takes place April 19–21.
The three-day event features more than 170 cars on display, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The experience kicks off April 19 with a ticketed VIP party at Ellen Brown Scripps Park. Enjoy live jazz music reminiscent of the roaring 20s, a display of vintage automobiles from the 1920s and 1930s, a live auction, and food and drinks.
On April 20, take part in a unique scenic drive along the coast. The exclusive experience, Tour d’Elegance, is perfect for rare vehicle enthusiasts. At dusk, check out Porsches on Prospect, a free, family-friendly display of vintage and modern Porsches.
The main event takes place April 21. More than 170 rare automobiles will be on display. Experience live music, unique vendors and classic cocktails while perusing the wide variety of vehicles.
General admission costs $95. Don’t wait to purchase tickets: Prices increase for all ticket levels starting April 3.
For those traveling from out of town, consider a stay at La Jolla Cove Hotel, Grande Colonial, Empress Hotel, Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Inn by the Sea, La Jolla Shores Hotel, La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club or La Valencia Hotel. Each property offers special rates for festival attendees.
