Grand Hotel Bristol Resort & Spa
This 5-star hotel reopens in mid-March along the Portofino Coast. When it reopens, it’ll boast the largest hotel spa in Liguria. Guests will also enjoy the hotel’s rooftop restaurant with coastline views, voted one of the best luxury rooftop restaurants in the world.
The resort and spa have made waves in the luxury travel industry for more than a century, though. In 1908, it was the first hotel in the region to offer both private bathrooms and elevators to guests.

A new 5-star hotel in Lake Como, this Menaggio property offers a 4,000-square-foot spa, multiple restaurants and a robust wine cellar. It’s all situated amidst the mountains, with views of the lake.

Hotel Royal Victoria was originally a textile mill and, in 1838, hosted England’s Queen Victoria, for whom it is now named. Meanwhile, Villa Cipressi was recently renovated and one of the most historic villa accommodations options in the region.
