Compact Functionality in the MyKee Multitool

The drive to make gadgets as small as possible means you can now get your hands on a multitool that is the same size and shape as a standard house key.
MyKee is made from grade-5 titanium, and packs a cutting edge, a metric hex wrench set, a bottle opener and a multi-function “claw” into a tiny package 0.10 inches thick and just 0.185 ounces. The blade is semi-sharp, and designed for opening letters and packages more than anything else.

Although there are plenty of other keychain multitools on the market, MyKee proved popular with Kickstarter backers who had given more than $83,000 at the time of writing. Considering the company set an initial goal of $2,000, it appears there is certainly a market for MyKee.

A donation of $20 is enough to get you a MyKee of your own, and its makers claim there are 18 functions that can be performed with the tiny tool. The company is also working on a series of attachments, known as Keebits, which add extra functions to the original MyKee.
The makers of MyKee predict orders will be manufactured and shipped by late September 2016. MyKee is a subtle way of making your life easier without having to lug around a Swiss Army knife or other more obvious tools.
