The tour includes:
Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania and relax in a safari camp
Day 2/3: Visit Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, with lodging at the parks
Day 4: Cycle around Mt Meru, overnight in the Olpopongi Maasai Village
Day 5: Ride to Mt Kilamanjaro and the market town of Moshi
Day 6: Bike to Lake Tipe, then transfer to Usambara Valley and stay in the Jaegertal forest
Day 7: Pedal to Korogwe and Pangani
Day 8: Visit Saadani National Park
Day 9: Ride to the coastal town of Bagamoyo
Day 10: Depart Africa
The inaugural tour kicks off in October 2015, with additional departures in January, July and October 2016. Prices start at $2,475, which includes accommodation (double occupancy), all meals, support vehicles, park admission and guides/drivers. Bike rentals are an additional $175. Private tours for couples and small groups are available upon request.
