Hotel Boulderado, in Boulder, Colorado, transforms into a magical holiday winter wonderland. To celebrate, there’s beloved holiday teas and exciting holiday packages on offer. To kick off the season, the grand Christmas tree, at 28 feet, arrived to its home in the historic lobby.
Every Friday night, take in the splendor of the tree with jazz in the lobby 5–8 p.m., featuring local artists and musicians from CU Boulder School of Music. Holiday specials and full menus are available at Spruce Farm & Fish (open for brunch 7 a.m.–2 p.m., and dinner 3–8 p.m) and The Corner Bar, and the speakeasy-style License No. 1 bar has weekly entertainment, from live shows to a Thursday comedy night. Hotel Boulderado’s traditional Christmas buffet will include ham, leg of lamb, grilled vegetables, shrimp and crab cocktail claws, pecan pie, chocolate fondue and more.
Two holiday packages on offer include Holiday Charm and Winter Wanderlust:
- Holiday Charm includes a $50 Downtown Boulder gift card, pastries and coffee from Boxcar Coffee, and a keepsake Boulderado mug. Available through Dec. 31, rates start at $219 per night.
- Winter Wanderlust offers a third night free when booking two nights. If staying six nights, two nights are free. Through April 30, 2022, rates start at $338 per stay.
Holiday Teas are also back at Hotel Boulderado, with sweets, sandwiches and a selection of teas. On the weekend, enjoy carolers and holiday piano. Holiday-themed teas are available Dec. 11–20, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., with Nutcracker Tea benefitting Boulder Ballet on Dec. 11 and 18.
A New Year’s Eve Party at License No. 1 offers an opportunity to kick off 2022 in style.

The Bungalows at Kenzo Hall officially opened to guests last month. The bungalows feature 10 luxury accommodations in Kenzo Hall, a 22-room lakefront hotel operated by Western Catskills hotel and restaurant group Foster Supply Hospitality. The name pays tribute to the bungalow colonies in the Catskills from the turn of the 19th century, when Jewish farmers around the region began renting cottages to seasonal travelers escaping the cities. In the 1950s, many of the Bungalows offered full-service amenities like meals and entertainment.
