The anticipation is over. Preparation for the three f’s starts now: football, fall and food. What is better than Sunday night football?
In order to make sure you are fully prepared for the upcoming season, follow a few of our tips.
Complete All Fantasy League Drafts
While it is best to do a fantasy draft as close to the season as possible, you don’t want to be scrambling last minute trying to organize your group. Although the longer you wait, the easier it is to avoid preseason injuries and evaluate all of the players.
Stock Up
Make sure you have your Sam’s Club, BJ’s Wholesale Club or Costco membership before preseason begins. You already know your Thursdays, Sundays and Mondays will be filled with food and football, leaving you little time to food shop. Stock up on goodies for at least a few weeks. Remember the charcoal, as there is nothing worse than having to make a last-minute run before the game.
Make Playoff and Super Bowl Predictions
Make your predictions early, as there is no better feeling than bragging to your friends at the end of the season. Be sure to stick with your picks, so you won’t be known as a fair-weather fan.
Replace TV Remote Batteries
Perhaps this seems obvious, but the most important element is a functioning remote control.
Set-Up NFL RedZone
RedZone is a necessity. This special game-day channel, operated by the NFL Network, broadcasts regularly on Sundays during regular season games from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
