The Joey Ultimate Everyday Carry Jacket

More often than not we head out of the house with too many items for our trouser pockets, but not enough to take a bigger bag.

Global Travel Clothing developed a solution to that problem in the shape of the Joey Everyday Carry jacket. The design team at GTC has been working on affordable travel jackets since 2010, and the Joey is their latest, most refined effort.

Not only does the jacket have ample pockets for all of your essentials, it keeps them safe as well. There are lots of different options to make the jacket tailored to your needs, but here is a selection of the features on offer.

Detachable sleeves mean you can use the jacket even in warmer climates, with hidden pockets designed to keep cash and cars away from prying eyes. You no longer have to carry a book around in your hand, thanks to the inside book pockets. There is a detachable hood for wet weather and even a built-in eye mask for when you want to take a nap on the move.

GTC has overcome a common problem with travel jackets by using a poly-blend soft shell, which sheds water but still breathes. Another option is the sweatshirt, which comes in a cotton poly-blend with water-resistant, polyester-lined pockets.

If you are heading into colder climes, add the zip-in liner for extra warmth. The liner is designed to allow easy access to all of the Joey’s pockets thanks to built-in zips.

GTC claim to have made a number of upgrades to materials on the Joey, with better zips and a softer, more breathable material. The jacket provides a smart way of carrying your essentials without lugging an extra bag around with you.
