Sugar Factory is bringing a permanent Candy Museum to New York City, with a 30,000-square-foot space dedicated to all things candy. Slated for the Chelsea area, it’ll be located in the former Limelight nightclub.
The museum has 15 experiences planned, all themed around candy, in addition to a dessert market featuring more than 20 candy brands. There’s also a Sugar Factory restaurant and outdoor café. The restaurant and café serve up ridiculously sweet items ranging from sundaes to donuts to milkshakes.
To start things off, you can expect a full-sized candy unicorn; the world’s largest gummy bear; candy tastings; candy artwork; and more. Tickets include the tastings and entry to the dessert market, as well as the opportunity to create your own candy.
The museum is set to open this summer.
Can’t make it to NYC? Sugar Factory is planning another museum location in Los Angeles and one in a yet-to-be-disclosed location.
