Norse Atlantic Airways recently launched four new routes from the United States to London’s Gatwick Airport, bringing the airline’s total flights over the Atlantic to seven. The new routes — from Los Angeles (LAX); San Francisco (SFO); Washington, D.C. (IAD); and Boston (BOS) — join current routes from New York (JFK), Orlando (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL).
“We are incredibly pleased and proud to announce four more routes from the US to London Gatwick in time for the summer. With seven routes, our UK based airline, Norse Atlantic UK, will serve more destinations to the US from London Gatwick than any other carrier this summer. We’re delighted to offer travelers an incredible flight experience and service, with affordable fares, as they experience what London has to offer this summer,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO, Norse Atlantic Airways. “I am very pleased that we are fulfilling our pledge to allow more people to travel further and stimulate demand while creating competition in the transatlantic market that will ultimately benefit consumers and lead to job creation on both sides of the Atlantic. We know that both leisure and business travelers have been eagerly awaiting our full summer schedule announcement and we are looking forward to a busy summer ahead.”
Six weekly flights from Washington, D.C., start June 2, through early September. From September, there will be four weekly flights. Fares start at $195. Los Angeles flights, taking off daily, launch June 30 with fares from $199. At three flights per week, San Fran service begins July 1 and fares start at $185. On Boston flights, at five per week, fares start at $159 and flights depart Sept. 2.
