If you’re looking for a new high-intensity workout class with rave reviews, Orange Theory might be your new favorite. Its group personal training workout claims to give you more energy, visible toning and keep you burning calories for up to 36 hours.

The one-hour class is a high-energy environment with motivational coaches to keep you moving as you go through the different circuits. Heart rate monitors strapped around your waist track your heart rate and calories burned and display your progress as you go, giving you an extra push and a competitive edge.

The space is designed to encourage a supportive team setting. The group is split into smaller teams of six to eight people as you move through different exercises including treadmill running and indoor rowing.

At the end of your workout you are given your stats, which include your heart rate zone, calories burned and “splat points” which measure the time you spent at optimal heart rate.

Rates for a class and locations near you can be found on the website https://www.orangetheoryfitness.com/.
