Unique Itineraries & Tours

If you’ve ever wanted to partake in the romantic notion of traveling via throwback Volkswagen camper, Peace Vans has you covered. The new company, based in Seattle, offers rentals that help you accomplish just that.

The company’s Westfalia fleet is comprised of vehicles built between 1987 and 1991 for trips of a week or more. The vans are fully loaded with a built-in stove, sink and storage, and can sleep up to four adults. Peace Vans includes amenities like cookware, utensils, headlamps, a French press coffeemaker and fresh roasted beans from the Pacific Northwest’s best coffee purveyors. There are also options to add Washington wine, spirits and other gourmet treats.

“Peace Vans, our sister company and one of the nation’s foremost Volkswagen Van restoration experts, has been getting requests for rentals since inception in 2012, so it’s a joy to be able to extend this possibility,” said Harley Sitner, owner, Peace Vans Rentals. “We are getting early reservations for road trip reunions, family adventures and girlfriend getaways, but the versatility and reliability of our Peace Vans vehicles paired with the nostalgia of this road trip icon really makes this a super accessible adventure for a wide variety of travelers.”

Guests can design their own road trips or consult with Peace Vans for tips. The company has six-night minimum rentals for the “high season” of May 1 through September 30, and four-night minimums from October through April.
