Having an all-girls or an all-guys last hurrah is a fun tradition, but switching it up can be just as enjoyable. Rather than splitting up your group of friends, consider having a combined bachelor and bachelorette party. Make sure that everyone knows the event will be co-ed, and prepare to have a blast with close friends of both genders.
Have a group dinner at a favorite restaurant and then continue with a night on the town. If you want to keep things a bit more traditional, consider doing dinner separately and then reconvening later on, or vice versa.
A day trip is another fun possibility. Pack a picnic lunch and head out for a game of dodgeball, a hike or any number of other fun group activities. As long as the event is something the bride, groom and the group will love, there’s no need to stick to the standard bachelor and bachelorette game plan.
For a weekend away, rent a condo and cram everyone together (especially if cost is an issue!). Have the best man and maid of honor plan activities for everyone together and separately, and then meet back up later on. A fun weekend away with your closest group of friends is bound to be a gathering that everyone will love.
