Primland, Auberge Resorts Collection announced its first-ever Highland Golf and Wine Classic in Virginia. The three-day celebration of golf, wine and culinary experiences takes place May 25–27.
Nestled in the idyllic Blue Ridge Mountains, the resort sits on 12,000 acres of private land. The award-winning Highland course is one of the best public golf courses in the country, according to Golf Digest. The Donald Steel-designed course is both beautiful and challenging.
The weekend kicks off with a four-course dinner with wine from Flowers Vineyards & Winery. Spend time playing tournament-style golf during the day. Enjoy a Southern-style lunch on the green prepared by chef and cookbook author Kenny Gilbert. Chef Gilbert also prepares dinner the final night, with wine from Amulet Estates and a toast to the tournament winners. The resort’s Tobacco Barn houses a pop-up lounge for the weekend, with shopping from retail partners including Stitch Golf and golf-inspired beverages from Glenmorangie Bar. End the weekend with spa treatments, guided horseback rides or relaxing on the property.
Highland Golf and Wine Classic weekend packages start at $2,495 for single occupancy and $2,995 for double occupancy. Pricing includes two-night accommodations, V.I.P. amenities, two days of tournament golf play, and food and wine experiences. Visit the website for more information and to book.
