Protect Against Liability While Sharing With Record360

Next time you share or rent — an apartment, car, house, boat or other property — protect yourself against property, vehicle and asset liability with the Record360 app.

The free app is as simple to use as shooting a selfie, according to the company. At time of property, equipment or vehicle exchange, users can simply capture video, images, highlights and other necessary annotations from all angles with taps on a smart mobile device while walking around the item or dwelling. Record360 then creates a time-stamped, geo-tagged record stored in the cloud as proof of condition upon exchange. This way, disputes at the point of return are avoided.

“In today’s sharing economy, billions are lost each year in damages missed during the exchange of property, vehicles and equipment; and when renting houses/autos, etc. For all sharing and rental scenarios there is always the risk of damage disputes or liability for something you did not cause,” said Shane Skinner, CEO, Record360.

“There is a gaping hole in the marketplace for an app that gives travelers and really anybody who needs to share or rent equipment the peace of mind they should expect … just like any industry where goods and services are exchanged,” said Skinner.

Record360, an essential tool of the sharing economy, is available for iOS v7.0+ and on most Android 4.4+ devices.
