Book worms can now spend the night in the former home of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald in Montgomery, Ala. It’s actually listed on Airbnb for about $150 a night.
The home is the site of the F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum, which spent the last year furnishing and preparing a two-bedroom apartment in the home for use as a writer’s residency and rental unit. The home is the only museum dedicated to the couple in the world.
They were celebrities in the 1920s; he was famous for his novels like the Great Gatsby, while she was a socialite, painter, writer and dancer. They were known for their tumultuous relationship.
Zelda was a native of Montgomery and they lived in the home in the 30s. After they moved out, it was split into four apartments. The two-bedroom rental features a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room and sun porch, all face the front lawn. Renters get complimentary tours of the museum, located downstairs.
